Job Title: CMA Qualified Professional – Cost Accounting

Location: Corporate Office, Ahmedabad, India

Amneal Pharmaceuticals is a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to delivering high-quality and affordable medicines to patients worldwide. We are currently seeking a CMA Qualified professional with a strong background in Cost Accounting to join our corporate office team in Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Accounting and Analysis:
    • Prepare, analyze, and monitor product costings, standard costs, and cost variance analysis.
    • Maintain accurate cost records and analyze deviations to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for various departments and projects.
    • Conduct variance analyses and recommend cost-saving measures to the management.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Track, analyze, and report on inventory valuation and turnover.
    • Ensure accurate costing of inventory and assist with inventory audits.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance:
    • Prepare detailed cost reports, reconcile financial records, and ensure compliance with relevant financial standards and policies.
    • Collaborate with auditors during periodic reviews and audits.
  • Cost Control Initiatives:
    • Work closely with operational teams to develop cost-control initiatives and achieve cost reduction targets.
    • Identify areas for operational improvements and cost efficiency across departments.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) qualification is mandatory.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in Cost Accounting, preferably within a corporate setting.
  • Location Preference: Must be a resident of Ahmedabad or willing to relocate on an immediate basis.
  • Availability: Ability to join immediately or within 15 days.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in cost management software and advanced Excel skills.
    • Effective communication and organizational abilities.
