An exciting opportunity is available for a Finance Manager at a company based in Abu Dhabi, which operates as a subsidiary of a publicly listed organization. The role involves significant interaction with senior leadership and group finance, offering exposure to high-level financial strategy and operations in the UAE market.
Position: Finance Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Reporting To: CEO (Direct) & Group Finance (Dotted Line)
Salary: AED 30,000 – AED 35,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy and Management
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO and Group Finance for decision-making.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on financial objectives.
- Build strong relationships with the group finance team, auditors, and other external partners.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports in line with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Ensure compliance with local UAE regulations and corporate governance standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Oversee annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor variances and provide detailed analyses to stakeholders.
- ERP and Accounting Systems Management
- Leverage knowledge of accounting software such as SAP and Oracle to optimize financial processes.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the ERP systems.
- Leadership and Team Development
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency and team performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (essential).
- Additional certifications such as CMA, CPA, CA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
- Experience:
- 15–20 years of experience in finance, with a proven track record in the same field.
- UAE experience is mandatory.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of IFRS and its practical application.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP and Oracle.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
