Job Title: Chief Financial Accountant
Location: Abu Dhabi

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Oversight and Reporting
– Manage all aspects of the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions
– Prepare and present accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS
– Develop and implement robust financial management strategies and SOPs
– Oversee the budgeting process and monitor financial performance against targets.
– Manage cash flow and forecasting to ensure liquidity for operational and investment activities.
– Review and analyse the private office expenses
– Prepare or review weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and regulatory bodies as required
2. Investment Portfolio Management
– Oversee accounting for various investments, including equity stakes in companies and rental properties
– Ensure proper valuation and accounting treatment for diverse asset types
– Monitor the financial performance of the company against the projected financials for the companies in which Group has investments
– Review and analyse the board decks for the companies in which Group has investments
– Manage the consolidation of financial reports for all investments and rental property portfolios
3. Compliance and Risk Management
– Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
– Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the company’s investment portfolio
– Lead internal and external audit processes
– Review the suppliers and other contracts.
4. Property Management
– Oversee the rental properties management, including rental renewals and expenses approvals
– Ensure proper income recognition, expense tracking, and depreciation
– Ensure accurate financial reporting for property-related transactions and performance
Qualifications
– ACCA or CA or any relevant degree required
– Min. 10 years of experience, preferably in investment or real estate industries
– Strong knowledge of IFRS & relevant tax regulations
– Experience with investment accounting, including equity method investments and fair value accounting
– Proficiency in advanced accounting software
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
