Job Description: Deputy Manager/Manager – Finance, Budgeting, and MIS (AIF/PMS Division)

Role Overview:

Nippon India Mutual Fund is seeking a dedicated Finance professional for the role of Deputy Manager/Manager in the Finance, Budgeting, and MIS function within the AIF and PMS division. The ideal candidate will contribute to financial planning, budget management, reporting, and strategic financial decision-making for the division, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

  1. Prepare and monitor the annual financial budgets for the AIF and PMS divisions.
  2. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets, identifying key trends and discrepancies.
  3. Provide insights and recommendations for cost optimization and budgetary control.

MIS and Reporting:

  1. Develop and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) to deliver accurate and timely financial reports.
  2. Prepare and analyze periodic financial statements, dashboards, and key performance metrics for senior management.
  3. Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure data integrity and improve reporting processes.

Compliance and Audit Support:

  1. Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
  2. Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary data and clarifications.

Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement:

  1. Work closely with teams across finance, operations, and investments to align financial goals with business strategies.
  2. Serve as a point of contact for financial queries related to the AIF and PMS divisions.

Process Improvement:

  1. Identify and implement process enhancements to streamline budgeting, reporting, and compliance functions.
  2. Leverage technology and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background:

  1. Chartered Accountant (CA): 1-2 years of experience in a relevant role.
  2. CA Dropout: 2-3 years of experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) industry.
  3. Commerce Graduate: 3-4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably in BFSI.

Professional Experience:

  • Prior experience in financial planning, budgeting, and MIS functions within the BFSI sector is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with financial systems, accounting tools, and reporting frameworks.

Skill Set:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and other financial tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
