Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Officer to join our esteemed investment and asset management firm based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience within a group company and possess strong financial management skills. Bilingual proficiency is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee and manage the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability objectives.
    • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Compliance and Governance:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
    • Maintain robust internal controls and ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Cash Flow and Risk Management:
    • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the company’s operations.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance performance and efficiency.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance department.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments to align financial planning with business operations.
    • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives to achieve company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA/CFA preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance role within a group company.
    • Proven experience in financial management and strategic planning within the investment or asset management sector.
  • Skills:
    • Bilingual proficiency (English and Arabic) is preferred.
    • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
