Job Title: CEO / CFO / Finance Head

Location: Sohar Free Zone, Oman

Industry: Ferro Alloys and Allied Sectors (Manufacturing)

Reporting To: Board of Directors (Line reporting to the General Manager)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CEO / CFO / Finance Head to lead our financial operations in the ferro alloys and allied sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and leadership, with extensive experience in the manufacturing industry. This role requires a dynamic individual who can drive financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic direction to achieve the company’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to the Board of Directors and senior management.
    • Ensure compliance with local and international financial reporting standards and regulations.
    • Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and related disclosures.
  2. Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring the preparation, review, and analysis of financial data.
    • Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
    • Monitor budget performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
    • Manage cash flow and working capital to maintain financial stability and liquidity.
    • Optimize the capital structure and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
    • Develop and implement strategies for efficient working capital management, including accounts receivable and payable.
  4. Cost Management:
    • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, and sales performance to ensure alignment with business plans.
    • Implement cost-control measures and identify opportunities for cost reduction to enhance profitability.
    • Conduct financial analysis to support pricing decisions and business strategies.
  5. Inventory Management:
    • Supervise inventory valuation and control, ensuring accurate tracking of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
    • Develop strategies to reduce inventory holding costs and prevent obsolescence.
    • Implement inventory management best practices to optimize stock levels and improve efficiency.
  6. Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the company’s strategic plan.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support long-term growth and profitability.
    • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities and strategic initiatives.
  7. Regulatory Compliance and Governance:
    • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
    • Maintain robust internal controls and ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting.
    • Oversee the internal and external audit processes.
  8. Leadership and Team Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance performance and efficiency.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance department.
    • Promote collaboration and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA/CFA preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role within the manufacturing industry, particularly in the ferro alloys and allied sectors.
    • Extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
    • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate governance.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
    • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
