Job Title: Financial Director

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join a leading contracting and construction company based in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will possess excellent English proficiency, advanced PC skills, and expertise in ERP-SAP. With a minimum of 15 years of experience in financial functions, the candidate should be capable of building and managing investment operations within the construction sector. Experience in the GCC region is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals.
  • ERP-SAP Management:
    • Utilize ERP-SAP systems to streamline financial processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Ensure the integration and effective use of ERP-SAP within the finance department.
  • Investment Operations:
    • Build and manage the investment operations side of the business, including identifying and evaluating investment opportunities.
    • Develop strategies to optimize investment returns and support the company’s financial objectives.
  • Compliance and Governance:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
    • Maintain robust internal controls and ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance performance and efficiency.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance department.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments to align financial planning with business operations.
    • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives to achieve company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA/CFA preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial functions within the contracting and construction industry.
    • Proven experience in managing investment operations and financial strategies.
    • Experience in the GCC region is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent English proficiency.
    • Advanced PC skills.
    • Expertise in ERP-SAP.
    • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
