Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join a reputable company in Egypt specializing in Logistics Management. The ideal candidate will lead the Finance and Accounting activities, with overall responsibility for controlling the execution of the financial strategy and plan of the company. This role involves efficient utilization of resources to achieve financial and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the company’s objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
- Cost Accounting and Budget Planning:
- High competency in cost accounting and budget planning is required.
- Manage cash flow, financial risk, and investment activities.
- Develop accurate financial forecasts to aid business planning and strategic decision-making.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to local and international financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Banking and Cash Flow Management:
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Optimize capital structure and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Devise strategies for efficient working capital management.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance department.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial planning with business operations.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CMA is a plus).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 15+ years of related financial experience.
- Proven track record of successful financial management at a large financial scope project.
- Experience in logistics management or a related industry is preferred.
- Skills:
- High competency in cost accounting, budget planning, and banking.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
