Job Opportunity: Financial Controller

Location: Dubai, UAE

We are currently seeking a fully qualified Financial Controller for an immediate start with a global client based in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced finance professionals who are looking to take on a challenging and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Control:
    • Oversee and manage financial control processes.
    • Ensure accurate and timely year-end financial reporting.
    • Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a small finance team.
    • Provide mentorship and support to team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Global Operations:
    • Work effectively in a global environment, liaising with international teams and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with global financial standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in the industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of financial control processes.
    • Experience in year-end financial reporting.
    • Excellent team management and leadership abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a global environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Right to Work: Applicants must already have the right to work in the UAE as sponsorship will not be offered.
  • Salary: Competitive salary of approximately £80,000 per annum / AED 30,000 per month.
