Responsible for financial control & compliance; complete all journal postings and maintain responsibility for ensuring the ledger is fully up to date; complete all balance sheet reconciliations and ensure signoff by CFO every month end; liaise with cross group members for completion of intercompany postings and reconciliations; handle all AP, AR and payroll responsibilities; process all bank account payments and manage relationships with banks; oversee tax compliance and reporting; manage external audits; liaise directly with, and approve submissions to financial and regulatory bodies; reports all control weaknesses to the group CFO with recommended improvements; prepare month end accounts; prepare payroll, supplier and ad-hoc payment reports for review and sign off; assist with forecasts, budgeting and ad-hoc internal financial reports; prepare weekly cash flow forecast reports; assist CFO and business partners with pricing, bids and tenders on all assignments
