UK ETA

The UK ETA for Short Stay is designed for eligible travellers visiting the United Kingdom for up to six months without needing a visa. It can be used for tourism, visiting family and friends, attending business meetings, short-term study, certain permitted paid engagements, and some transit journeys. The ETA is linked electronically to your passport and must be approved before you travel. It does not guarantee entry into the UK, as the final decision is made by Border Force officers on arrival. If your passport expires, you will need to apply for a new ETA before your next trip. Before making travel plans, always check that your nationality is eligible for the UK ETA scheme and apply a few days in advance to avoid delays.
