The Mexico Business Visa is for eligible travellers visiting Mexico for permitted business activities such as meetings, negotiations, supervision visits, training, technical advice, conferences, or commercial activities. Mexico’s government describes these activities as visitor activities when they do not involve receiving remuneration in Mexico, with stays generally limited to up to 180 days under the relevant visitor status.

Before travelling, check whether your nationality requires a Mexican visa. Some travellers may be exempt because of their nationality or because they hold certain valid visas or permanent residence documents from countries recognised by Mexico.

If you need a visa, prepare your passport, photograph, proof supporting the purpose of your visit, and any financial or invitation documents requested. A business visit should not be confused with employment; if you will receive payment or work in Mexico, a different immigration permission may be required.
