Job Description: Finance Business Partner (FP&A)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Note: Candidates who are not currently based in Abu Dhabi will not be considered for the role. No visit visas, no travel from Dubai or other emirates, no other type of arrangements. Thank you for your understanding.

Salary Range:

  • Junior-Level Role (Finance Business Partner): 3–4 years of experience (AED 15,000 – AED 18,000)

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Reporting:

  • Consolidate reports detailing actual vs. budgeted and forecasted results with clear variance explanations.
  • Manage periodic tracking of performance against planned targets by cluster.
  • Prepare management reports, support budget cycles, and maintain budgetary controls.
  • Provide historical trend analysis, KPIs, and variance analysis to identify opportunities and risks.

Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver value-added insights and recommendations.
  • Work independently and articulate recommendations to Business Heads and CFO.
  • Highlight risks and opportunities in business proposals and challenge assumptions.
  • Support planning and budgeting through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Financial Modelling & Strategic Decision Support:

  • Assist in financial modeling for projects and investment decisions.
  • Evaluate balance sheet restructuring opportunities to drive economic value.
  • Establish systems and templates for agile reporting to senior management.

System Implementation & Automation:

  • Support automation and system implementation projects, including testing and project management.
  • Develop productivity measures, dashboards, and scorecards for KPI reporting.

Governance & Accuracy:

  • Adhere to policies and procedures for forecasting, planning, and budgeting.
  • Ensure the accuracy of forecasts and provide insights into cost drivers and business models.

IFRS Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of IFRS accounting standards with emphasis on IFRS 15, IFRS 16, and IFRS 38.

Education & Experience:

  • Qualifications: Master’s degree in Business/Finance with a professional qualification (e.g., FFA, CPA, CA, CIMA, MBA, or ACCA).
  • Experience: Previous experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong skills in financial planning, control, and governance.
    • Proficiency in building complex MS Excel models and using PowerPoint and other planning tools.
