Exciting Job Opportunity: AGM – Finance & Accounts (F&A)

Organization: Large Indian Group
Designation: Assistant General Manager – Finance & Accounts (AGM – F&A)
Location: Hyderabad, India
Experience Required: 11–15 years post-qualification
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Job Responsibilities:

As the AGM – F&A, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the financial and accounting functions for a large organization. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Preparation of Consolidated Annual Accounts:
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  2. Monthly and Quarterly Closures:
    • Manage the monthly and quarterly closing of books of accounts with precision and adherence to deadlines.
  3. Compliance with Accounting Standards:
    • Be proficient in IND AS, IGAAP, and IFRS to ensure compliance and accuracy in reporting.
  4. Data Review and Validation:
    • Validate and review financial data received from the Shared Service Center to ensure reliability.
  5. Treasury Accounting and Transactions:
    • Handle treasury-related accounting activities and oversee transactions.
  6. Audit Coordination:
    • Collaborate with statutory auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
    • Address and close audit points raised by internal auditors effectively.
  7. Business Understanding:
    • Analyze the business perspective to provide insights that facilitate audits and financial decisions.
  8. SAP Expertise:
    • Mandatory: Proficiency in SAP.
    • Preferred: Knowledge of SAP BPC module is an added advantage.
  9. Internal Controls and Compliance:
    • Work on recommendations from internal auditors to strengthen internal controls and resolve identified issues.

  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Expertise in managing treasury and consolidations.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Work Schedule:

  • 5 days working per week.
  • Alternate Saturdays are working days.
