Overview
The company is expanding its finance department and is seeking an AR & Treasury Section Head. This role involves overseeing accounts receivable (AR) and treasury functions while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and implementing efficient processes.
Professionals with substantial experience in real estate and expertise in ERP systems, preferably Odoo, are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Receivable Management
- Oversee the complete accounts receivable cycle, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely collections.
- Establish and monitor credit policies to mitigate financial risks.
- Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
2. Treasury Operations
- Manage the organization’s treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity management.
- Develop strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial costs.
- Monitor and report on treasury activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
3. Financial Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including AR aging and treasury updates, to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to implement best practices.
4. System and Process Optimization
- Utilize ERP systems, preferably Odoo, to streamline financial operations.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
- Implement policies and procedures to improve accuracy and control in AR and treasury processes.
Requirements
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in accounts receivable and treasury management.
- Prior experience in the real estate industry is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Odoo).
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
