Job Description: Assistant Accountant Cum Admin
Location: Al Twar, Dubai
Tenure: Full-time
Office Hours: 8:30am to 6pm (All Sundays and Alternate Saturdays off)
Salary:
- AED 3,500 to AED 4,000

Job Overview:
We are urgently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant Cum Admin to join our team in our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will handle a blend of accounting and administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
- General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and update the general ledger by recording financial transactions accurately.
- Ensure all entries are documented and reconciled regularly.
- Bank Reconciliation:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in bank statements.
- Basic Bookkeeping:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions and maintaining financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Administrative Duties:
- Office Stationary Management:
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and stationery.
- Ensure timely replenishment of office supplies as needed.
- Office Hygiene and Cleanliness:
- Supervise the cleanliness and hygiene of the office premises.
- Coordinate with cleaning staff to ensure a clean and organized working environment.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and handling office documentation.
- Assist in organizing meetings, events, and other office activities.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in accounting and administrative roles is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
