Location: Al Twar, Dubai

Tenure: Full-time

Office Hours: 8:30am to 6pm (All Sundays and Alternate Saturdays off)

Salary:

  • AED 3,500 to AED 4,000

Job Overview:

We are urgently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant Cum Admin to join our team in our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will handle a blend of accounting and administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties:

  • General Ledger Management:
    • Maintain and update the general ledger by recording financial transactions accurately.
    • Ensure all entries are documented and reconciled regularly.
  • Bank Reconciliation:
    • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
    • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in bank statements.
  • Basic Bookkeeping:
    • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions and maintaining financial records.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Administrative Duties:

  • Office Stationary Management:
    • Maintain inventory of office supplies and stationery.
    • Ensure timely replenishment of office supplies as needed.
  • Office Hygiene and Cleanliness:
    • Supervise the cleanliness and hygiene of the office premises.
    • Coordinate with cleaning staff to ensure a clean and organized working environment.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and handling office documentation.
    • Assist in organizing meetings, events, and other office activities.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in accounting and administrative roles is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
