Job Description: Senior Accountant or Assistant Finance Manager

Industry: Automotive

Location: Dubai

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Cost & Works Accountant (ICWA) to join our dynamic Automotive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
  2. Accounts Management:
    • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
    • Manage inventory control and ensure proper accounting of inventory transactions.
  3. Financial Planning and Budgeting:
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
    • Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
  4. Compliance and Internal Controls:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
    • Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  5. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
    • Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in an automotive dealership is compulsory.
  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Cost & Works Accountant (ICWA) qualification.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proven track record in financial reporting and analysis.
    • Experience in managing accounts payable, receivable, and inventory control.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
