Chartered Accountant

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team in Erbil, Iraq. As the Group Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations and reporting for a group of companies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the financial accounting cycle for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow) in accordance with international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insightful reports to management, enabling informed business decisions.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions for the group.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure financial integrity.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and facilitate the annual audit process.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with other departments, such as operations and sales, to ensure financial alignment.

Qualifications:

• CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a group of companies.
• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
