Job Overview

AU Small Finance Bank Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Credit Manager to join our Working Capital Department at the Ahmedabad location. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of credit processes, with a specific focus on working capital, and will play a key role in evaluating, analyzing, and managing credit proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Evaluation:

Analyze and evaluate credit proposals for working capital requirements.

Assess client financials, repayment capacity, and associated risks.

Underwriting:

Ensure compliance with the bank’s credit policies and guidelines during the underwriting process.

Prepare detailed credit assessment reports for approval.

Portfolio Management:

Manage and monitor the working capital portfolio to ensure the quality of credit.

Conduct regular reviews of accounts to identify early warning signals and take proactive actions.

Customer Interaction:

Interact with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored working capital solutions.

Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, such as risk management, operations, and sales, to facilitate smooth processing and approval of credit proposals.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), or MBA in Finance.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in the credit function, specifically in the working capital domain within a bank or NBFC.

Skills:

Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Proficiency in financial statement analysis and risk assessment.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and market trends related to working capital finance.
