Job Description: Finance Manager – Hospitality Sector

Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Manager in our hospitality business, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health of our hotel. Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and implement robust financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic Decision Support
- Collaborate with the leadership team to support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and analysis.
- Provide recommendations for optimizing operations, reducing costs, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring business continuity and security.
- Cash Flow Management
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the availability of funds for daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee the accounts receivable and payable processes for effective financial management.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a small team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Certifications
- ACCA Qualified or CA Finalist.
Professional Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in the hospitality sector, preferably in finance management or a related role.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems used in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
