Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Manager in our hospitality business, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health of our hotel. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement robust financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with business objectives.
    • Analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  2. Financial Reporting
    • Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Strategic Decision Support
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and analysis.
    • Provide recommendations for optimizing operations, reducing costs, and identifying growth opportunities.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring business continuity and security.
  5. Cash Flow Management
    • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the availability of funds for daily operations and strategic initiatives.
    • Oversee the accounts receivable and payable processes for effective financial management.
  6. Team Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead and mentor a small team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Certifications

  • ACCA Qualified or CA Finalist.

Professional Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in the hospitality sector, preferably in finance management or a related role.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems used in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
