Key Responsibilities:
As an Audit Manager, your main duties will include:
- Audit Engagements:
- Lead and manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Ensure audits comply with IFRS and regulatory standards.
- Team Management:
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior audit team members.
- Review their work and provide constructive feedback.
- Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Offer advisory services to improve client operations and financial performance.
- Planning and Reporting:
- Develop audit plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to clients and senior management.
- Compliance and Risk Assessment:
- Ensure adherence to audit policies and procedures.
- Identify risks and recommend solutions to mitigate them.
Candidate Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
- Proven experience in an audit management role (minimum 3–5 years).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Greek will be considered an advantage).
