Job Description

Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in directing and overseeing the financial activities of the organization, ensuring alignment with its business strategy and goals. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will manage financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and reporting while contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization’s growth and profitability goals.
  • Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

2. Operational Oversight

  • Ensure efficient management of financial systems, processes, and controls.
  • Supervise the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital requirements.

3. Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the business.
  • Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international financial regulations.
  • Lead audit processes and manage relationships with auditors and financial institutions.

4. Team Management

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.

5. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and financial stakeholders, including investors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare and present financial performance reports to the Board of Directors and executive team.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior financial management role (CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent).
  • Proven track record in the Utilities or Electronic Manufacturing sector is an advantage.
  • Experience in managing complex financial operations and leading cross-functional teams.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
