About the Role:
We are seeking a Fresher Company Secretary (CS) to join our compliance and corporate governance team. Key Responsibilities:
As a Fresher CS, your role will include:

  1. Corporate Compliance:
    • Handle statutory filings and compliance with the Registrar of Companies (RoC), SEBI, and other regulatory bodies.
    • Ensure timely adherence to corporate and securities laws.
  2. Board Meetings and Secretarial Functions:
    • Draft notices, agendas, resolutions, and minutes for board meetings, general meetings, and committee meetings.
    • Maintain and update statutory registers and records as required under company law.
  3. Legal and Regulatory Liaison:
    • Coordinate with legal counsel and external advisors on compliance and regulatory matters.
    • Provide support for handling company law-related issues and queries.
  4. Drafting and Review:
    • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and policies.
    • Ensure documentation aligns with legal and statutory requirements.
  5. Audit and Reporting:
    • Assist in internal and external audits.
    • Prepare reports and documents for management and regulatory submissions.
  6. Research and Advisory:
    • Stay updated on changes in corporate laws and governance practices.
    • Advise on the implications of regulatory updates for the company.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Membership with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
  • Basic understanding of corporate laws, SEBI regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and drafting skills.
  • An analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
