About the Role:
We are looking for a CS Trainee or Semi-Qualified Company Secretary to join our compliance and corporate governance team. This role is ideal for candidates who are pursuing or have partially completed their Company Secretary qualification and are eager to gain practical experience in corporate compliance, governance, and legal affairs.

Key Responsibilities:
As a CS Trainee / Semi-Qualified CS, you will:

  1. Corporate Compliance:
    • Assist in preparing and filing statutory documents and returns with regulatory authorities like the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
    • Ensure compliance with company law, SEBI regulations, and other statutory obligations.
  2. Board and General Meetings:
    • Support in drafting notices, agendas, and minutes for board meetings and annual general meetings (AGMs).
    • Help in maintaining statutory registers and records.
  3. Legal and Secretarial Support:
    • Assist in the drafting and review of agreements, contracts, and policies.
    • Support in handling legal queries and liaising with legal advisors when required.
  4. Research and Advisory:
    • Conduct research on changes in corporate laws, regulatory updates, and industry practices.
    • Provide insights and assistance in implementing governance best practices.
  5. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of corporate filings and legal documentation.
    • Ensure timely updates to stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
  6. Miscellaneous Tasks:
    • Support senior team members in special projects and audits.
    • Assist in administrative tasks related to secretarial work.

Requirements:
To be a good fit for this role, you should have:

  • Enrollment in the ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) program or semi-qualified status.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and company laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • A proactive and learning-oriented mindset.
