Company Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Head to lead and oversee the financial operations of a prominent hospital based in Mumbai. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the hospital’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
    • Lead and support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the hospital.
  • Financial Operations Management:
    • Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
    • Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Cost Management & Efficiency:
    • Identify cost-saving initiatives and opportunities to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality patient care.
    • Analyze financial data to develop strategies for reducing costs and enhancing revenue streams.
  • Budget & Forecasting:
    • Lead budget formulation and execution while providing regular variance analysis and recommendations for course correction.
    • Partner with department heads to establish effective financial targets and manage financial performance.
  • Revenue Cycle Management:
    • Monitor and optimize hospital revenue cycles, including billing, collections, and reimbursement processes.
    • Collaborate with teams to improve cash flow, reduce account receivables, and enhance patient payment systems.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards relevant to the hospital industry.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring effective internal controls and audits.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to support the hospital’s financial and operational objectives.
    • Promote a culture of financial discipline, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of post-qualification experience, with a significant portion of that in a hospital or healthcare setup.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of hospital financial operations, healthcare billing, and reimbursement practices.
    • Proficiency in financial systems, ERP tools, and financial analysis methods.
  • Competencies:
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
    • Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
