Position: Group Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Planning
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals across all subsidiaries.
    • Monitor and optimize financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth and cost savings.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
    • Ensure alignment of budgets with strategic objectives.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Lead the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Flow Management
    • Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Implement effective treasury policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage and mentor the finance teams across various business units.
    • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management and Compliance
    • Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with tax laws and other financial regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Provide insights and financial advice to senior management and business owners.
    • Collaborate with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (essential).
    • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, or ACCA) is highly preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or group-level role.
    • Prior experience in family-owned businesses or SMEs is an advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
    • Excellent understanding of UAE tax regulations and compliance.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
