Position: Head of Accounts
Location: UAE

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight
- Oversee financial records, ensuring accuracy and integrity in reporting.
- Approve general ledger entries and payment plans to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Ensure timely reconciliations of accounts to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Taxation and Compliance
- Manage VAT and TAX processes, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.
- Oversee audit processes, collaborating with auditors and tax consultants to meet statutory requirements.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of growth and operational excellence.
- Delegate responsibilities and ensure performance benchmarks are consistently met.
- Internal Controls and Governance
- Implement and enforce internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Develop governance frameworks for financial operations and reporting.
- System and Tool Utilization
- Leverage ERP systems (specific software to be provided) for efficient financial management.
- Utilize MS Office tools, especially Excel and Word, for reporting and analysis.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MBA in Finance or Accounting is a plus).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Proven expertise in managing financial operations in a leadership capacity.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience with ERP software (specific software to be provided).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
