Job Description: HR Manager (Omani Nationals Only – Muscat, Oman)

Majan is growing, and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to join our team in Muscat. This pivotal role will focus on overseeing all aspects of human resources management, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and compliance with local labor laws. Key Responsibilities

  1. HR Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
    • Oversee workforce planning and ensure the organization is adequately staffed to meet operational needs.
    • Monitor HR trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  2. Recruitment and Onboarding
    • Lead recruitment efforts to attract, select, and retain top talent.
    • Design and manage onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
    • Develop partnerships with local institutions to promote employment opportunities for Omanis.
  3. Employee Relations and Engagement
    • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, fostering open communication and a positive work environment.
    • Develop initiatives to boost employee morale, satisfaction, and retention.
    • Handle conflict resolution and grievance management effectively and professionally.
  4. Performance Management
    • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to support employee growth and productivity.
    • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and goal-setting.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of performance management programs.
  5. Compensation and Benefits
    • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws.
    • Review and update compensation structures to remain competitive in the market.
    • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave policies, and other perks.
  6. Training and Development
    • Identify training needs and design programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
    • Promote leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments as needed.
  7. Compliance and Reporting
    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Prepare and submit regular HR reports to senior management.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  8. Organizational Culture
    • Foster an inclusive workplace culture that reflects the company’s values.
    • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional HR certification is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in HR management, preferably within Oman.
    • Proven track record in leading HR initiatives and managing a diverse workforce.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Familiarity with Omani labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
