Job Description:

Overview:

Internal Audit’s mission is to independently assess the firm’s overall control environment, including governance processes, risk management, and anti-financial crime frameworks. The role involves communicating and reporting on the effectiveness of the firm’s controls and risk management, raising awareness of control risks, and monitoring the implementation of control measures.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of business areas, products, and supporting functions.
  • Plan and execute audit discussions, walkthroughs, and testing with stakeholders in line with the audit scope and IA methodology.
  • Identify risks, assess mitigating controls, and make recommendations on improving the control environment.
  • Prepare commercially effective audit conclusions and findings, and present to IA senior management and internal stakeholders.
  • Follow-up on open audit issues and their resolution.
  • Assist the department’s continuous monitoring effort to cover incidents, external and regulatory events, business, and technology updates.

Qualifications:

  • Basic industry knowledge and strong accounting knowledge.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, tools, and utilities for business use.
