Job Opportunity: Project Finance Controller for AGM/DGM Role

Location: Gujarat (Site-based)

Position: Assistant General Manager / Deputy General Manager (Project Finance Controller)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educational Background:
    • Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost and Management Accountant (ICWA) / MBA in Finance
  • Experience:
    • 10-12 years of relevant experience in project finance, preferably within a similar industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and manage financial plans and budgets for various projects.
    • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting for project performance.
    • Monitor project costs and ensure they align with budgetary constraints.
    • Prepare financial models to evaluate project feasibility and ROI.
  • Cost Control and Management:
    • Oversee and control project-related expenditures.
    • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.
    • Track and report project expenses, variances, and corrective actions.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management.
    • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with relevant standards.
    • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Liaise with project managers, finance teams, and external stakeholders.
    • Communicate project financial status and key metrics to stakeholders.
    • Address queries and concerns related to project finances.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify financial risks associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and manage financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Flow Management:
    • Oversee project cash flows, ensuring adequate liquidity for project needs.
    • Manage working capital requirements and optimize cash flow cycles.
    • Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for project financing needs.
  • Audit and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for financial audits.
    • Implement audit recommendations and corrective actions.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
    • Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for team members.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent financial modeling and forecasting abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
