Job Summary
The firm is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of their Dubai office. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in a similar role within an international law firm and should have experience managing financial processes in offices with a presence in KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
This role encompasses VAT and tax accounting, ledger management, budgeting, payroll, billing, treasury, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Tax and Compliance
- Manage VAT and tax accounting, ensuring compliance with UAE and KSA tax regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns in collaboration with external advisors.
Financial Operations
- Oversee ledger management and ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense processes.
- Supervise billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to clients.
Budgeting and Reporting
- Develop and monitor budgets, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to regional and global leadership.
Payroll and Treasury
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
- Manage treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and optimization.
Team Management and Coordination
- Lead and mentor the finance team in the Dubai office.
- Collaborate with the global finance team and ensure alignment with organizational standards.
- Liaise with the KSA office to ensure seamless financial integration and reporting.
Skills and Qualifications
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
Experience
- Mandatory: Previous experience at an international law firm, preferably one with a KSA office.
- Extensive experience in VAT & tax accounting, budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial operations within the legal or professional services sector.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in financial systems and software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
